Phosphorus is an indispensable raw material for the production of white LEDs. More importantly, white LEDs using ilicate system phosphors are widely mentioned in numerous patents and are significantly different from ordinary LEDs that use other phosphorus-containing compounds.
With the cross-licensing agreement, Seoul Semiconductor can expand and accelerate its research and development capabilities by producing and selling white LEDs using silicate phosphors, thereby enhancing Seoul Semiconductor's industry position.
