Guan Yusheng, the word school sound, Guangdong Fangao, born in Tianjin on August 29, 1892, studied at St. John's University in Shanghai, studied in the United States in 1914, studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and obtained a bachelor's degree in architecture in 1917. After returning to China in 1919, he served as the engineering consultant of Tianjin Police Department, the construction engineer of Beining Road, and assistant supervisor of Peking Union Concord Hospital.
In 1920, he founded the Tianjin Jitai Engineering Division, which was responsible for organizing and externally contacting the business. He also served as a member of the engineering team of the Nanjing Capital Construction Committee. In 1928, he participated in the drafting and review of the national university engineering school division chart. He used to be a member of the China Construction Society.
After the "September 18th" Incident in 1931, Guan Yusheng was imprisoned for refusing to serve as the Minister of Engineering of the Manchuria State, and then returned to Shanghai after the rescue.
I went to Taiwan after 1949. His architectural design work in Taiwan is the Hong Kong Wanxuan Building. The Shaw Building, the Taiwan Man-made Fiber Company, and the Taipei Sports Sports Tasting Provincial Stadium. During his time in Taiwan, he served as the chairman of the Taiwan Architects Association and contributed to social welfare and sports.
Prior to 1949, Kitai Engineering Division had worked in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Shenyang, Hong Kong, etc. It was the most prestigious architect of modern Chinese architects.
Mr. Guan Yusheng died in Taipei on November 27, 1960.
