Chevrolet announces full installation of 3G Wi-Fi equipment in vehicles
American automaker Chevrolet announced today that it will install 3G to Wi-Fi routers in American automotive products, which means that your car can be a 3G hotspot at any time to provide mobile data to everyone within 150 feet.
The models equipped with routers include Avalanche, Equinox, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe and Traverse, with a bandwidth of 1.5Mbps, $ 29 per month, and $ 199 for a two-year contract. The price will increase to 399 next year.
