Deng Zhidong is a professor and doctoral tutor of the computer department of Tsinghua University.
Mr. Deng Zhidong is also currently the director of the Intelligent Automation Committee of the China Institute of Automation, the deputy director of the Intelligent Manufacturing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Automation, the chairman of the Expert Committee of the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Innovation Alliance, and the director of the Artificial Intelligence Subcommittee of the CCID Academic Committee. He was the assistant to the team leader of the National Robotics Subject Expert Team of the National 863 Program (1998-2001).
