Configure static routing

The user can configure a static route through the ip route command in the global configuration mode. The command parameters are described as follows:
ip_address The network address of the target network
mask Subnet mask of the target network
masklen mask length of the target network
interface_name specifies the sending interface for packets destined for the target network
Gateway_addr specifies the next address through which packets destined for the destination network pass
preference_value Static route The priority static route added to the core routing table allows network administrators to manually configure the routing table, but it cannot dynamically reflect changes in the network. Therefore, this method has certain limitations to ensure uninterrupted network operation.
The use of static routing in a network with a relatively stable network structure can reduce routing problems and save network overhead. At the same time, the use of static routing can also achieve special applications such as load balancing and routing backup functions.
