The new 13W compact fluorescent Megaman CFL GX53 is 75mm in diameter and 24.3mm in height, offering power options from 9W to 13W. The lamps are available in a material size of only 55 mm, allowing them to be used on low-concave ceilings for fixed or directional mounting. A high frequency electronic ballast rated for 15,000 hours is located at the bottom of the lamp. The GX53 uses a U-shaped T2 fluorescent tube to reduce the shadow of the illumination to a minimum level. The illumination of the lamp is uniform, and the double-connected structure makes the whole structure stronger and reduces the risk of breakage. Another safety feature of the lamp is the use of a fully recyclable silicone diffuser as a lampshade, so that when the internal light source is damaged or broken, the lampshade can wrap debris in the lamp.
