introduction
The transportation industry is one of the key industries for energy conservation and emission reduction determined by the State Council. The State Council has explicitly requested to accelerate the construction of a transportation system characterized by low carbon emissions. The energy-saving advantages of LED lighting are remarkable. On the market, lighting manufacturers have introduced LED lamps for road and tunnel lighting. For the highway levy station square, LED high pole lighting is still a new attempt. We carried out a test LED retrofit on the 1# high pole lamp of Xiang'an Collection and Management Center Plaza, replacing the original 8ç›1 000W high-pressure sodium lamp of 1# high pole lamp with 400W LED lamp, and with the unmodified 2# high. The rod lamp was compared with the actual power saving. The results show that the power saving effect of the LED high pole lamp is obvious.

2 Feasibility analysis
2.1 Economic comparison
According to the original 4 pole high pole lights of 1 collection, each pole 8 ç› 1 000W high pressure sodium lamp, the height of the luminaire to the ground is 30m, the annual lighting time is 3 600h, using 10 years to calculate, and the cost of using 400W LED lamp is like Table 2.
The price of LED single-turn lamps is about 4.5 times that of high-pressure sodium lamps. The initial investment cost is much higher than that of high-pressure sodium lamps, but it has no maintenance cost and consumes much less power than high-pressure sodium lamps. From an economic perspective, it can save 372,600 yuan in 10 years. This investment is in line with the construction of transportation system requirements characterized by low carbon emissions, enabling intensive conservation and utilization of resources.
2.2 Comparison of visual effects
As seen from Table 1, the color rendering index of the 400W LED lamp is much higher than the 1 000W high pressure sodium lamp. From the visual effect of the naked eye, the lighting effect of 1# high pole light 8ç›400W LED light and 2# high pole light 8ç›1 000W high pressure sodium lamp is basically the same, but because of the high color rendering of LED high pole light, the object is more Clear, thus improving driving safety, can also create a more comfortable visual environment for the highway levy square and the collection and management. From the comparison of the photos in Figure 1 and Figure 2, the LED is significantly better than the sodium lamp.
However, the LED light source has a strong directivity, and the visual effect glare is slightly higher than that of the high pressure sodium lamp.
2.3 Social comparison
LED lamps do not contain harmful elements such as mercury and sodium, and will not pollute the environment. They are in line with the direction of strengthening ecology and environmental protection and realizing the green development of transportation.
