I think that the industrial revolution has now reached a new starting point. On the one hand, we are increasingly injecting the brain power of people into the machine; on the other hand, the machine is increasingly replacing the human brain.
I think that artificial intelligence has just begun. From the perspective of investors, this is its own choice of life and death, not the choice of the future of human life and death. On the one hand, this revolution is injecting human intelligence into the machine, and at the same time, it is necessary for the machine to have more functions that the traditional brain cannot carry. I think that at any one stage it can use technological means such as the growth of material science, algorithmic advancement, etc. The rather precise solution is actually the core of its actual business value.
Natural language is like a map of the world for the whole human mind. Although its information is complex, it is analyzable visualization. We grasp the natural language and it only captures a small part of human existence as intelligence. If we give the machine all the effects of human intelligence through natural language analysis, then its dissatisfaction must be very strong. Artificial intelligence is always lower than humans, and intelligence is even higher. Yong Yong: Do you invest in angels. What do you mainly look at? Are you looking at people? Look at this technology? Or look at the business model? Or look at something else?
Wang Qiang: When we were in 2011, we only looked at people. Angel investing was the most advanced aspect of the investment community. Even entrepreneurs themselves could not clearly answer what they wanted to do. He only had a general goal in the general direction. The closer you are to people, the better. I do not agree with many investment agencies that they want to vote on the track. Just like Lu Xun said: There is no road in the world and there are many people walking. Wang Qiang: Artificial intelligence is a great dream for human beings. Now we talk about just cutting the most complicated thing into a slide. Now as a memory, all these things of the monitor are the first level, it imitates all the organs that people see in the world; the second part is the way people and the world communicate, the simplest is the language, we call it natural language, but the language If they are sliced ​​again, the difference between people and other animals, creatures or machines lies in the different levels of emotions. People have subconscious consciousness. Let the machine have emotions still in the foreseeable future. If one day AI really conquers humans, humans must surpass the species they create or they will be replaced; so people will become smarter and more diligent, or they will be destroyed.
Yong Yong: The basic point we mentioned is actually strong artificial intelligence. I think this day is still very far; weak artificial intelligence is to do one thing well. This can be achieved. Can you imagine which industries might be replaced by artificial intelligence in the next 5 or 10 years?
Wang Qiang: Anything that can logically clear its logic nodes clearly, and at the same time, the areas that can be accurately presented to the answer through image analysis will be replaced by artificial intelligence in the future. Why don't we keep the strongest things, let artificial intelligence replace the weakest part of our brain, and finally continue to improve our intelligence. For example, in the future education and medicine, these goals are all very accurate. If the data are very accurate, I think these scenarios are the most commercially valuable and worthwhile investment in the not-too-distant future.
Yong brave: Go back to the topic. We talked about several ways to commercialize artificial intelligence today. Which path do you think is more successful?
Wang Qiang: One is to solve the problem at the platform level, because dealing with a large number of languages ​​and pictures requires platform-level collaboration. Once this thing is in place, it does not require other people to do it again. Now it may be that all major companies are studying.
On the other hand, the one thing easy to judge from the perspective of investment is that the field of choice is very narrow and the goals are very clear, such as imaging and neurosurgery. Accuracy of the area we invest in a major direction.
