The Shenzhen Branch of the Emergency Rescue Promotion Center of the Ministry of Civil Affairs recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with E-Tech Lighting. The two sides will jointly establish the National Emergency Rescue Shenzhen Sub-center Special Lighting Technology Research Institute for LED (Semiconductor Lighting) Special Emergency Lighting and Security Lighting Application Technology Develop research and product quality standards. According to industry insiders, this marks another big step for Shenzhen in developing LED segmentation market.
According to Feng Jun, Chairman of E-Tech Lighting, after the project is completed, it will form a headquarters base in Shenzhen and a special lighting industry base in Dalang, Dongguan, with a total investment of about 10 billion. It is planned to be completed and put into operation in three to five years. It is expected to drive at least 30,000 jobs.
Wang Dianzhen, president of the Shenzhen LED Industry Association, believes that the launch of the Yite Special Lighting Industrialization Base project has opened a precedent for the large-scale promotion and application of LED products in the market segment, which will bring about 10 billion market space for enterprises.
