It is hoped that Guangdong Province will increase its support for the LED industry in Shenzhen, establish a Guangjing Design Institute in Shenzhen, and set up an LED engineering center or research institute to solve the technical problems that enterprises want to solve most.

It plans to provide 10 billion yuan to support the development of the three major industries in five years. The Provincial Science and Technology Department will promote the development of the LED industry from three aspects: First, increase the research on key technology materials such as upstream MOCVD and epitaxial wafers, break through the foreign patent envelopment, greatly reduce the cost of epitaxial wafers, and form patent exchanges between upstream and downstream. Second, grasp the market application, the government starts the market.
