Austrian photovoltaic system helps giant panda field observation

The reporter was informed yesterday that a photovoltaic system from Austria will be introduced for scientific observation of the wild giant panda habitat in our province. Wanglang Protected Area became the first trial area to build a giant panda field observation system using photovoltaic power generation.

Austria has a very mature solar photovoltaic technology. Under the introduction of WWF, the technology will be first applied to the Mianyang Pingwu Wanglang Reserve, which will serve two weather stations, 60 infrared cameras and a road lighting in the protected area. The system is equipped with solar powered equipment. According to the person in charge, the Laoshan Mountain Department, where the Wanglang Conservation Area is located, is home to 700 giant pandas, accounting for nearly half of the world's wild giant pandas. Lansing expanded the use of light-emitting LED lights for street lighting experiments.
