Electric power department solves the problem of photovoltaic power generation settlement

The Jinhua Electric Power Administration explained that, in accordance with the national fiscal and taxation policy, when a resident's distributed photovoltaic power generation customer settles on-grid electricity, it needs to provide the power supply company with a settlement voucher, namely a sales invoice. Residents, as natural persons, do not possess the qualifications of legal persons or individual business owners and cannot provide corresponding settlement vouchers. Therefore, the power supply companies cannot legally handle financial affairs according to the existing policies.

As a new thing, individuals could not issue sales invoices, which was once a problem that plagued personal photovoltaic generation.

Considering that the current state-relevant supporting policies have not yet been introduced, in order to support and encourage individuals to invest in the construction of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects and eliminate settlement bottlenecks, the Jinhua Power Department is connected with the provincial power company and the taxation department, permitting users to be connected as temporary operations. Households are invoiced by the national tax agency for settlement of surplus electricity.
