Tridonic and Panasonic Sign LED Patent Authorization

Pangoonic Corporation, Panasonic Lighting Europe and Triumonic, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zumtobel, have signed an LED patent licensing agreement.

Under the terms of the agreement, the two companies license each other to use certain patents in the field of lighting electronics, mainly control areas and LED light sources. The specific content of the agreement is still confidential.

The agreement will help the two companies strengthen their R&D activities, promote innovation and drive further growth in the LED lighting market. In addition, the agreement will provide the two companies with the freedom and opportunity to develop world-class products and solutions to better serve customers in the rapidly changing lighting field.
