As a former Baidu chief scientist and an associate professor at Stanford University, Wu Enda, after leaving Baidu for nine months, Wu Enda’s AI entrepreneurship path has gradually begun to implement. This is the second project launched by Wu Enda following the launch of the artificial intelligence online course platform Deeplearning.ai on June 23 this year.

Revive manufacturing through artificial intelligence

Dear friends,

I am happy to announce the establishment of Landing.ai. As an artificial intelligence (AI) company, Landing.ai is designed to help companies transform in the era of artificial intelligence. We will first focus on the manufacturing industry.

Artificial intelligence has driven tremendous changes in the IT industry. When I led Google Brain and Baidu's artificial intelligence team, I was fortunate to have played a role in the artificial intelligence transformation of the two leading Internet companies. I understand the benefits that artificial intelligence brings to these businesses and their users. We must not only use artificial intelligence to empower the IT industry, but also the need to use artificial intelligence to empower the entire society, including eating, wearing, living, and doing all aspects, freeing humans from complex and simple labor. In order to let the whole society experience the benefits of artificial intelligence, I hope to promote artificial intelligence to other industries.

Artificial intelligence transformation is difficult

Many companies are exploring how to apply artificial intelligence. The road to AI transformation is not easy. Many AI technologies are still complex, and few teams have fully understood and effectively applied these technologies. Outside the IT industry, artificial intelligence talent is even scarcer.
