Application of WinControl in Lighting Control Design

I. Introduction

It is important that any design clearly state the correct product list, detailed installation methods, and instructions for the necessary operating procedures. Once an excellent lighting control design is completed, there are many benefits such as compliance with energy efficiency regulations, reduced installation costs, minimal errors and changes, and ease of use.

The lighting control design can be specified by a simple part number or with detailed details of the various components in the system, each wire and connection point. In any case, a good design should include the following six basic elements:

1 Determine the control strategy

2 Select yuan, device products

3 Create a single line layout

4 Create a lighting control planning form

5 Create written technical indicators

6 Mark the details of the control device on the lighting design

This article briefly introduces the application of WinControl in lighting control design for designers' reference.

The basic steps of the second lighting design

The design of the lighting control panel system generally has six basic steps, which can be done automatically using WinContro. Figure 1 is a brief description of the basic steps of the system design. Detailed introduction is as follows:

Step 1 Determine the lighting control strategy: As mentioned above, the control strategy is the basis for selecting implementation controls, especially for certain mandatory regulations that are not optional but critical.

Step 2 Determine the panel configuration: Use a similar lighting control integration system to provide a single, scalable platform that accommodates both the simplest applications and the ability to build new features to meet the most complex requirements. The design is automatically simplified by adding the necessary smart cards via WinControl software. Table 1 gives an example of a smart card that is available for operation in a lighting control integrated system.
