After the laptop is scrapped, its power supply is still intact. However, because they are no longer useful, people mostly discard them. We have modified this power supply to a certain extent, so that it can charge mobile phones, mobile power supplies, tablets and other devices through the USB interface. Due to the high power of the notebook, we can charge 8 mobile devices at the same time. The power of up to 80W allows it to charge 8 iPa at the same time. In this way, the power supply in the used laptops can be reused to continue to serve our family life and achieve the goal of recycling used electronic products.
Step 1: Step 1: Prepare the material
Making components:
(1) One used notebook power supply, power 90w, output voltage 19v
(2) 8 voltage conversion modules
(3) plexiglass plate
Use autocad to design a box expansion and use an engraving machine.
(4) Copper column screws, etc.
Step 2: Assembling the parts
Connect the wires to the buck board first, then power up all the buck boards with a 19V regulated power supply to test to ensure that all buck boards are functional. Then connect the buck plate with copper posts. After that, the positive and negative terminals of all the step-down plates are separately arranged.
Cut the DC end of the computer power supply to find the positive and negative poles, connect them to the wires on the pressure-relief board, and wrap them with insulating tape.
Step 3: Bonding the outer casing
First, four holes are drilled in the side panels of the outer casing for connecting the copper posts. Connect the buck plate that is worn with a copper post to the side plate and place the power supply under the buck plate. Corresponding to drill four holes close to the power supply on the bottom plate for wearing the wire tie, and then drilling four holes at the four corners of the bottom plate for connecting the nails.
Place the power supply on the backplane and fasten it with a tie. Position the remaining power cords and secure them with tie wires. Position the four boards on the side and front side, and stick the four boards to the bottom plate with plexiglass glue. After finishing the routing and confirming that there is no problem with the wiring, buckle the top cover.
Step 4: Test
Plug in the power cord, contact, check that all the LEDs of the buck board are on, and use a multimeter to measure whether the output voltage of the USB interface is 5V. After confirming that there is no problem, you can plug in the USB cable to charge some devices. If there is nothing unusual about the device and the USB power supply, then the power supply should be ready for use.
After testing, this charger can charge 8 devices at the same time, as shown in the figure.
